I use an integrative approach to therapy, which means I draw from a range of evidence-based methods and tailor them to fit your specific needs, goals, and preferences. We partner in the process and my style is conversational. There’s no one-size-fits-all here. Our work together will be shaped by what works best for you to create the therapy experience that meets your unique needs.
As we collaborate toward your goals, expect warm, empathetic respect. You will feel heard, seen and supported. My role is to help you build practical tools, gain new perspectives, and feel empowered to move toward the changes and growth you want for yourself.
Being independant allows me the flexibility to offer sessions designed with you in mind. Most of my clients utilize the traditional 50 minute hour for as long as needed to address concerns and growth. Some arrive with a sense of urgency, maybe anxiety related to an upcoming event and a desire for a more intensive approach; others, with time restrictions due to an unconventional work schedule or travel requiring a less regular schedule. For those clients, I am able to offer sessions and schedule designed to best achieve your goals.
I offer additional expertise in concerns of aging, chronic health, new diagnosis and caregiver needs.
My practice is culturally inclusive and LGBTQ+ affirming.
