A bit more about me:
I love when my clients have that aha! moment; that shift in their posture, the way their eyes light up when an inner thought process suddenly comes together.
or
When a client comes to a follow up session excited to share how they tried a different approach we developed together…and it worked!
I find joy in those moments when, months into our work, I share a note from an early session and my client is surprised to recognize how far they’ve come-because the growth now feels like a natural part of who they are.
and
I revel in the moments I get to reassure my clients that they are doing great and it is time to meet less often so they can learn to trust themselves to continue down the path they have cleared.

I earned my B.S from University of Vermont and my Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University with a clinical concentration and began my career in community mental health—building my skills and deepening my training. Since that time, I have never stopped learning how to provide best care; continuing to expand my expertise in treating anxiety, panic, major life demands and personal changes. I have additional expertise in concerns related to aging, chronic health and caregiving. I am a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional.
For over 30 years, I've enjoyed the privilege of offering clinical therapy, emotional support, skill building, and education to clients through your most challenging life events and for some, at the moment you decide you are ready to take those steps toward personal growth.
My work with my clients has shaped my understanding of resilience and capacity for change and strengthened my belief in the transformative healing potential of skilled compassionate therapeutic connection.
Since 2019, I have met exclusively in a virtual setting, offering clients the opportunity to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of their own space—without the additional demands of travel or logistics.
I also develop and facilitate educational programs for those who want understanding and skill building on their own timeline without the commitment to therapy or in advance of beginning therapy.
Alongside my clinical work, I step into leadership and supervision roles—another profound privilege. Supporting and training other clinicians has allowed me to foster their growth while continuing to evolve in my own.
Fun facts:
I am both a mother and grandmother to twins!
You will most often find me near water, mountains or, ideally, both.
When I'm not supporting clients, I am enjoying time with family, a small group of friends, or creatively crafting in textile and fiber arts
